THE new Tory regime at Thurrock Council has pledged up to £300,000 to help clean up the borough.
The recommendation was made at a meeting of the ruling cabinet on Wednesday night (July 14th).
The leader of the council made reference to the state of the borough in his opening remarks at the meeting. (! min 27 secs)
Later, the portfolio holder for environment, cllr Pauline Tolson read out the proposals for the cleaning of the borough.
