THE leader of Thurrock Council has expressed his concern for a UKIP councillor involved in what has been described as a "serious car accident"
The councillor in question is John Allan. who serves the Tilbury St Chads ward.
Cllr Rob Gledhill made the comments at a meeting of the ruling Conservative cabinet on Wednesday night.

A number of UKIP councillors were in the room and thanked councillor Gledhill for his concern.
