ON Friday 15th July 2016, The Griffin Foundation Trust held their first Annual Fundraising Ball at the Old Regent Ballroom in Corringham.
The event attracted over 120 guests for a three-course meal and entertainment, helping to raise an additional £7648.29 profit for the trust fund which in turn means more grants for Thurrock communities, clubs and individuals who apply for funding!
Their raffle proved a huge success with generous prize donations from; Friends of Hardie Park, Camp 4 Champs, Ugly Duckling Beauty Hut, Just Perfection, Browns Landscaping, Stacey Webb from Signature Hair and Tanning Salon and Layla Hinchen.
A spokesperson said: "We would like to thank all those who helped make the evening a great success including those who attended the ball, the local companies who gave their sponsorship, the prize donations and Ian Gallagher for a great night of singing and entertainment.
"Next year we will be holding the ball in October, where we hope to see more local companies attending to help raise further funds. Venue to be confirmed."
