FEN Lane, Orsett, and Connaught Avenue, Grays, will be temporarily closed in August for repairs and maintenance. to a number of sewers.
From Monday 8 August to Wednesday 10 August Fen Lane – between Green Lane and Stifford Clays Road – will be closed from 7.30am until 6pm so Anglian Water Services can undertake sewer maintenance.
Access will be maintained for the entrance to The Old Rectory however residents will have to follow the diversion route via Fen Lane and High Road B188.
Further to this, Anglian Water will be repairing a damaged sewer on Connaught Avenue, closing the road from 9am on Thursday 11 August until just before midnight on Wednesday 17 August.
The diversion route will be via Lodge Lane, Victoria Avenue, Long Lane and vice versa.
Thurrock Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by these works.
