A NUMBER of Thurrock teenagers have shown what fine citizens they are as they have undertaken activities as part of their National Citizens Service (NCS).
On Friday 29th July, 13 teenagers on NCS in Thurrock helped out at a charity fun day for Open Door.
This involved helping to set up, pack away as well as fundraising.
A spokesperson for the group said: "The group were inspired by Open Door and their work for the homeless and deprived families in the local area.
In addition, the group took part in a bucket collection in Grays town centre. The aim was to raise funds in order to buy goods which may be able to support the work that Open Door do, such as toiletries and other essential items which may be of need but too expensive for some to buy.
