THURROCK suffered a shock exit from the FA Cup with a defeat by Halstead.
The fellow Essex side went 2-0 up by half time with goals by Joe O’Hare and Tom Scott.
It get worse for Thurrock when Charlie Pleace scored.
Thurrock tried to claw their way back with two goals but the Humbugs held firm.
