High praise for Thurrock by Royal Opera House

THERE was high praise for Thurrock by the Royal Opera House as they opened their 2016/17 season at the Covent Garden.Patrons of the Royal Opera House had assembled at the Clore Studio to see excerpts of forthcoming productions at the world famous venue.But firstly a number of young dancers from the Chance to Dance project, include seven from Thurrock, graced the stage.After their performance, the director of learning and participation, Jillian Barker, praised the dancers and made a number of reference to ThurrockMs Barker said: “We have delighted at how many students from across the Thurrock schools have embraced the Chance to Dance project”.It pays testament to the spirit and commitment of Thurrock’s schools that we are able to continue to develop and grow the project.
