THURROCK’S recent run of good form came to an end on Friday night when they lost 2-0 to Bowers and Pitsea at the Len Salmon Stadium.
Goals by Brad Warner (3′) and David Knight (83′) secured all three points for their Essex rivals.
The result leaves the Fleet in seven place and on 28 points. They are just four points off the play off places.
They return to league action on Tuesday at home against Brentwood Town.
