ESSEX Firefighters were called to assist at the scene of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Marshfoot Road in Tilbury.
Crews worked with the Ambulance Service to help rescue one female casualty trapped in her vehicle. The casualty was released by 16:20hrs (Monday) and left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
something needs to be done about this junction there are always accidents here the HGV ‘s coming out of Marshfoot road don’t like to stop as its on an incline and ther is no clear signage on speed but with the 126 speed limit at 50mph it is only a matter of time before there is a fatality why not paint a stop sign on the road and put a speed limit sign on top of the directional information sign at the junction maybe this will stop the traffic pulling out.
