A PLAQUE is set to be erected in memory of the late Thurrock historian, Jonathan Catton.
The announcement was made by the mayor of Thurrock at a meeting of Thurrock Council on Wednesday night.
Plans are for the plaque to be in Thurrock museum.
Mr Catton died earlier this year.
