Stanford-le-Hope man fined after Labrador injures woman

A STANFORD-le-Hope man has been fined over £500 after his Labrador injured a woman in a local park.

Michael Cohen, aged 63, of Poley Road, Stanford-le-Hope pled guilty to the following charges.

On 14/09/2016 at Stanford-le-Hope, were the owner of a dog, namely black labrador cross, which was dangerously out of control in Ruskin Road Park, Stanford-le-Hope and whilst so out of control injured another.

On 22/09/2016 at Stanford-le-Hope, were the owner of a dog, namely black labrador cross, which was dangerously out of control in Ruskin Road, Stanford-le-Hope

Cohen was fined a total of £550 and the following order was made.

Unless the dog Labrador called Diego is kept under proper control by it is ordered that if Battersea Dog and Cats Home choose to rehome Diego it shall be to someone that they reasonably consider to be a suitably experienced and qualified service dog handler, it must be destroyed.
