HUNDREDS of Thurrock residents have signed a petition that calls for the invitation for US President Donald Trump to visit Great Britain to be withdrawn.
The petition was started after Mr Trump enacted an Executive Order that imposed travel restrictions on people from a number of countries.
It has caused uncertainty and anger in the United States.
By Monday morning, 650 Thurrock residents had signed the petition. By Monday afternoon, 908 from the Thurrock constituency had signed and 784 from the South Basildon and East Thurrock had signed.
