A man has been arrested following a fatal RTC in Grays.
Two lorries and a car were in collision on the A1012 exit slip road on the Londonbound A13 at around 9.30am today (Thursday, February 2).
Emergency services attended.
The driver of the car, a man in his 20s from the Basildon area, was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
A 44 year-old man from the Birmingham area has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The road is expected to be shut until tomorrow while resurfacing work takes place.

POLICE and other emergency services are at the scene of a serious road collision in Grays. It happened on the A1012 exit slip road on the London bound A13, at around 9.30am today (Thursday, February 2).
The collision involved two lorries and a car. The slip road is likely to remain closed for several hours and motorists are advised to seek alternative routes where they can.
Police are appealing for witnesses and would urge anyone who saw what happened to contact Essex Police on 101 or email collisionappeal@essex.pnn.police.uk
