VISITORS to two recruitment events had the chance to meet staff at the region’s ambulance service and discuss life in greens.
This Tuesday (7th March), staff and volunteers from the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) took part in the Essex Skills Board Recruitment Fair in Harlow.
A number of engaged members of public showed an interest in working for EEAST in the future.
Recruitment and Resourcing Manager Denise Stedman attended and said: “Our staff and volunteers were asked lots of positive questions and were really friendly, informative, and keen.”
Meanwhile this Thursday (9th March), staff and volunteers attended the Basildon event and spoke to more than 100 people.
Organisational Development Project Support Officer Victoria Harris attended and said: “It was a fantastic event, we spoke to lots of people with many showing an interest in working for the ambulance service. They were asking our staff some great questions that ranged from working in Patient Transport Services (PTS), control room, our Paramedic pathway, and opportunities in support services.”
She added: “Hopefully we will see some of these eager people in ambulance greens in the near future.”
