A TILBURY actor has won a much-coveted prize at the British Pantomime Awards.
Damian Williams is known by many Thurrock residents for his years treading the boards at the Thameside Theatre pantomimes.
In the ten years since he has made the role of the dame in Sheffield his own.

YT spoke to Damian. He said: “I am delighted to have received the award in what is the first year of the Great British Pantomime Awards.
“It also indicates that pantomimes are becoming more and more popular. They really are the show for everyone from five to 95!”.
