A TILBURY man, who, as a teenager, playing for West Ham United, was tipped for football stardom, has passed away.
After his West Ham years, Tony played for a number of local clubs but became a firm favourite with Tilbury FC.
Tony played for Tilbury between 1989 and 1995, twice winning the Player of the Year award.
He was known for his touch and skill and many, who may have regretted that he did not fulfil his potential, were also glad to have seen him play.
He also played for Grays Athletic and Aveley
