A man has been charged in connection with the attempted robbery of a taxi driver in South Road, South Ockendon, on May 9th.
Aaron Keenan, 20, a fairground worker of Spencer Walk, Tilbury, was arrested on May 11 and charged with attempted robbery and possession of a knife in a public place.
He was due to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court today, May 12.
