HUNDREDS took advantage of the summer conditions to take part in the Thurrock Cycle Marathon on Sunday morning.

From 9 year olds to 90-year-olds, they all set off from Blackshots on a route that took them on a 7 mile/21 mile and 42 mile course.

Our cameras caught the cyclists at the start and then as they wound their way round St Mary Lane between Bulphan and North Ockendon.
