Man in court over Corringham burglary

A MAN is due to appear in court today, Thursday June 22, charged with two burglaries in which cars were stolen.

Lewis Matthews, 22, a labourer of Town Square, Basildon, is charged with a burglary in Silverdale, Corringham, on June 20 in which a BMW 320 was stolen, and another in Recreation Avenue, Harold Wood, overnight on June 19 in which a Volkswagen Touareg was stolen.

He is due to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court today.
