Grays thirteen-year-old pleads guilty to knife, robbery and drug offences

A GRAYS teenager has pled guilty to robbery, knife possession and drug offences.

The thirteen-year-old, who cannot be named because of his age, appeared at Basildon youth court on July 25th, 2017.

The charges were as follows:

On 08/05/2017 at Grays robbed another to the value of 50P.

On 08/05/2017 at Grays had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place Lodge Lane, Grays, an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a kitchen knife with a 5 inch blade and a folding lock knife with a blade of 4 inch.

On 08/05/2017 at Grays had in your possession 0.1 GRAMS of cannabis, a controlled drug of class B in contravention of section 5(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971

The teenager has been referred to Thurrock youth offender panel for a contract having effect for 10 months.

The teenager was also fined a total of £85.00
