THE Royal National Institute of Blind People kept a lively presence in Grays Shopping Centre last week. A team of fundraisers came down from Leeds and spent the week chatting with members of the public about the work of the RNIB before offering them the opportunity to make a difference and support the charity through signing up to play the RNIB Lottery.
They then have a chance to win cash prizes every week, while at the same time supporting people with sight loss in the UK, by helping them to receive products and services vital to their wellbeing.
When asked how their week had gone Fundraiser Ashleigh Glenn was very positive: “We’ve had a good response and the community was lovely.” She said.
