THE annual Victory in Japan (VJ) Day Parade was held at Orsett rose garden on Saturday on behalf of the Burma Star and Far East Veterans Associations.
The first wreath was laid by Deputy Lord Lieutenant for Essex Mrs. G Barton.
Followed by the Mayor of Thurrock, Councillor Tunde Ojetola who laid a wreath on behalf of Thurrock Council.
