A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man in South Ockendon.
Police received reports that a man had suffered serious knife injuries at a property in Eden Green at around 1pm on Monday, August 21.
The victim, Daniel Adger, 34, from South Ockendon, was taken to hospital but sadly died upon arrival.
Zakaria Lahrar, 19, of Dee Close, Upminster has been charged with murder and aggravated burglary.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 18.
