ESSEX Police are appealing for information about an aggravated burglary in Portsea Road, Tilbury, at around 11.30pm yesterday (Monday, September 18).
Four suspects wearing balaclavas arrived at the address and smashed a window at a property.
A man, aged in his 80s, confronted the suspects and was struck in the face with what is believed to be a crow bar. The suspects then left the scene empty handed
The victim was taken to hospital with a cut to his cheek.
