THE Stanford Le Hope and Surrounding Area Fundraising team held a charity quiz night earlier in the year. The money raised allowed them to purchase a whole new kit for the boys.
A spokesperson said: “We are now moving onto our Christmas present appeal and started our bucket collections and bag packs in Iceland in Corringham yesterday.
“We will now be there every weekend throughout October and November with our mascot “Bee Kind” and are also selling raffle tickets. The raffle will include prizes such as a TV, a wine hamper and a selection of superb sporting drawings from a local artist including this fantastic sketch of the only fools and horses gang!
