Annual ‘Forget-Me-Not’ service of remembrance and thanksgiving
BEREAVEMENT midwives and the chaplains at Basildon University Hospital are preparing for the annual ‘forget-me-not’ service for those who have experienced baby loss.
Anyone who has experienced the loss of a baby at Basildon University Hospital is welcome to the service, which gives the opportunity for remembrance and thanksgiving.
There are prayers, poems, time for quiet reflection and an opportunity for families to light a candle in remembrance with family and friends.
Crèche facilities are available for young children and refreshments will be served after the service.
The service this year takes place at 3pm, on Sunday 5 November, at Trinity Methodist Church, Clay Hill Road, Basildon, SS16 4NN.
