PLANS for a £7 million refurbishment of the Thurrock Council offices are set to be put forward by the ruling Conservative administration.
The plans will see an extensive refurbishment of the building at New Road in Grays.
The plans may dovetail the £10 million improvements already agreed for Grays Town Centre.
There are also plans to upgrade the council chamber where the 49 Thurrock councillors hold many of their meetings.
The ruling cabinet meet on Wednesday November 8th.
How can this be justified when they just tried to force undemocratic charges on council tenants?
