ESSEX Police have arrested one man and three boys on suspicion of burglary, theft from a motor vehicle and attempted burglary following an incident in Corringham.
At around 2.10am on Thursday, November 2, officers attempted to stop a vehicle in Fobbing Road and later found it abandoned in Lyndhurst Drive.
Attending officers Pc Rob MacKenzie and Sgt Lauren Sharland then received a call about a burglary in progress in Central Avenue and stopped a taxi containing four passengers leaving Williams Way.
They arrested three boys, aged 16 and 17, and a 20-year-old man, all from Basildon, at the scene. All four were later released under investigation.
