Grays laundrette death: Man charged

ESSEX Police have charged a man with conspiracy to rob following an incident at Baylee’s laundrette in Grays.

Michael Williams, 35, of Old Farm Park, Milton Keynes, is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday, December 9).

The charge is in connection with an incident in Southend Road, Grays, at around 10pm on Monday, December 4, in which Paul Robertson, 39, of Milton Keynes, died from multiple injuries.

A 39-year-old man from Grays was arrested on suspicion of murder and released on bail until Thursday, December 28, pending further enquiries.

A 28-year-old man from Watford who was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary has been released on bail until December 29, pending further enquiries.
