EAST Thurrock put in a glorious performance to knock Aldershot Town out of the FA Trophy.

Goals by Cheye Alexander (og 33′) and a hat-trick by Tom Richardson (49′, 63′ and 70′) put them through to the next round.

The draw for the second round (last 32) will be held on Monday lunchtime.

East Thurrock return to action on Saturday at home against Whitehawk.
