FIRE Crews were called to a road traffic collision between a light goods vehicle (lgv) and a van on the A13 near the Orsett Cock.
On arrival firefighters reported that one man was trapped in the van and worked to release him by 2.30pm.
The man was left in the care of the ambulance service.
