ESSEX Firefighters were called to a a large stack of compacted cardboard on fire in an industrial estate on Juliet Way, Purfleet.
The stack measured approximately 10m x 10m.
At 8pm, the fire was under control and two fire engines were able to leave the incident.
The fire was fully extinguished by 8:45pm. The cause of the fire is unknown.
