ESSEX Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Aveley last night, Saturday, March 3, leaving him with serious and potentially life changing injuries in hospital.
The assault happened just after 9pm in Shannon Way near Belhus Park.
A 35-year-old local man suffered a number of stab wounds, broken jaw, nose and eye sockets.
The victim is being treated at a London hospital.
