Kassi’s cake sale for new slide in Hardie Park

Kassii Hardie

KASSI May, aged 10 who attends East Tilbury Primary School has kindly donated £140 to Hardie Park for their new slide fund. She has held three separate cake sales in memory of her late grandad who loved to spend time with her at the community Park run by volunteers in Stanford le Hope. One sale was held at her singing class, Starmakers, the second at her dad’s workplace, Construction Sealant and the third at her uncle’s work, Tarmac Bagging Plant in Linford.

She attended the Easter Egg Hunt over the bank holiday weekend to hand over the cheque to Rob Groves and the Easter Bunny. Rob Groves, CEO at the park said, ‘What a star and obviously a budding baker to generate so much money. Thank you Kassi, it’s a very kind and thoughtful thing to do. We are very grateful for your contribution to the slide fund.’

If anybody has any new and innovative ways of raising funds for the new slide planned for the community park in Stanford le hope please contact Rob Groves on 07803 295374. There is also a tab on the website to donate a one-off or regular donation at www.friendsofhardiepark.co.uk
