TILBURY slipped to a disappointing defeat against fellow strugglers, Waltham Abbey.

Goals by Nathan Koranteng (17′) and Darelle Russell (84′) secured all three points for the Abbey.

Tilbury scored late on through Jack Carlile (90′ pen).

The result leaves Tilbury in 19th place on 44 points with just six games left.

They return to league action on Tuesday night at home against Haringey Borough.
