The Access to Higher Education (Policing and Criminology) course is a one year programme, it’s unique in Essex and Advanced Learner Loans are available. You can apply to start this September.
Aimed at mature students, applicants will be able to pursue careers in the criminal justice field and will develop skills in investigation, attention to detail and social research.
After completing the course, students will be able to undertake the College’s BSc (Hons) Criminology and Forensic Investigation degree or other higher education study.
Sam Charman, Lecturer on the course, said: “Anyone interested in police work, working in cybercrime or counter terrorism and crime scene investigation – this is the course for you!
“Maybe you didn’t get the grades the first time round or had to pull out of further education for a variety of reason, this course give you the opportunity to learn again and start exploring careers in this very interesting sector.”
