Dance students to perform in dynamic show

DANCE students from South Essex College are putting on a dynamic end of year show.

Level 2, 3, 4 and 5 Dance students, who all study at the College’s Southend Campus, will be showcasing their performance skills at the Towngate Theatre in Basildon on Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 June.

The students are part of Dimensions Dance Company, the College’s dance group. The show entitled ‘Positive Corruption’ will incorporate styles such as contemporary, ballet, tap and commercial.

Rebecca Quinn, Dance Lecturer, said: “The students have been working tirelessly this past term, learning and refining choreography, whilst exploring new dance styles and developing new skills.

“Our show this year hopes to allow the audience an insight into the truly unique performers we have within the company, celebrating their diversity and showcasing their talent. Positive Corruption offers something to entertain, excite and engage with everyone.”
