A WOMAN who went on a shoplifting spree, stealing close to £3,000 worth of goods, has been fined just over £200.
Poppy Carr, aged 24, of River View, Chadwell St Mary pled guilty at Basildon magistrates court to eleven counts of shoplifting.
Carr stole goods including perfume, candles and baby milk from Boots, New Look, Smiggle and Love Aroma between Oct 2017 and January 2018.
Carr was made subject of a community order and a variety of rehabilitation schemes as well as a fine of £255.00.
It is not known if the goods were recovered.
Now, tell us crime doesn’t pay.
She isn’t going to stop yet, she is still £2745 up.
It sends the message ‘ shoplift folks’ it’s a profitable business.
