ESSEX Police are now in a position to provisionally identify a man who died in a collision in Tilbury yesterday as 22 year-old Kruteen Desai from south east London.
A car was in collision with the central reservation on the A1089 near the Port of Tilbury at around 7.20am on Monday, July 8.
Sadly, Mr Desai died at the scene.
In a statement his parents said: “Kruteen, our only child was a smart, intelligent, and well respected young man in the community.
“He successfully completed his Masters in Chemical Engineering from Lancaster University and we were looking forward to attend his graduation ceremony on July 20.
“Whilst this may not happen now, he will always live on in our hearts and memories.
“May God bless and rest his soul in peace.”
