Discover free crafty fun at Children’s Centres this summer
THURROCK Adult Community College, working in partnership with both Tilbury and Chadwell-St-Mary Children’s Centres, are offering free workshops for parents/carers of children starting school in September.
Be a ‘Prince or Princess’ for the day on Thursday 9 August, making a crown and be the star in your own story. Have fun counting with Pirate Jill on Thursday 16 August at a ‘Pirate Numbers’ craft session where you will make a pirate hat and create a fun treasure hunt board game.
Finally, on Wednesday 22 August, create a simple ‘All About Me’ scrapbook together to share with your family and your new teacher when you start school. Pre-booking is recommended for these fun, free craft sessions by calling the college on 01375 372476.
