JACK (9) and Emily McNulty (7), from Romford, headed out on a mini adventure to Southend after winning a competition searching for Little Explorers.
The brother and sister were selected by c2c Rail to enjoy an adventure along the route with their family and shared images of their day out to encourage others to go exploring this summer.
They family was awarded with a day travel pass and vouchers for Southend attractions so they could head to the seaside this summer. Both of the children couldn’t wait to spend time on the beach, hit the arcades and then spend time at the adrenaline-fuelled Adventure Island.
Mum, Emma McNulty, says: “We were really looking forward to our mini adventure. It’s often quite costly to keep the kids entertained during the summer so this prize couldn’t have come at a better time. We love going to Southend as a family and getting stuck in to traditional seaside activities. It was great to create magical memories together during the day.”
The Little Explorers were selected by c2c following a competition on its Facebook page during May where parents were asked to enter on their children’s behalf.
Clare McCaffrey, c2c Commercial Director, says: “There’s so much to see with c2c and it’s great that our Little Explorers can share their experiences with us so we can see it through a child’s eyes. What’s great about our route is that our adventurers can completely change their scenery in a short space of time.”
