East Thurrock United 2 v 4 St Albans City
EAST Thurrock remain mired in the relegation zone after three late goals consigned them to defeat.
St Albans had opened the scoring through Sam Merson in the 25th minute.
East Thurrock struck back through Sam Higgins (26′ pen) and Jack Simmons (32′) but in a disastrous last three minutes, goals by Richard Sho-Silva (88′), Sam Merson (89′) and Khala Da Costa (90′) secured all three points for the Hertfordshire side.
The result leaves East Thurrock third from bottom of the table.
They return to league action next Saturday away at Welling United.
