Over the border: Hundreds of homes in Rainham

Rainham

WORK has started on a development of 394 much-needed new homes in Rainham – and the first properties are now on sale.

Persimmon Homes has made a start on its long-awaited scheme off Creekside, close to the famous Rainham Marshes. The development is called Knightswood Place.

The first houses have now been released onto the market and are available to buy off plan.

Persimmon Homes Essex has invested £3.27million in its latest development, which includes improvements towards cycle and pedestrian connectivity and accessibility, as well as an investment of more than £1.7million to education. The development will help create hundreds of direct and supply chain job opportunities.

Over the coming years the development will feature a collection of two-bedroom apartments as well as two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Louise Trail, head of sales for Persimmon Homes Essex, said: “We are delighted to have released the first properties onto the market. It was a very successful launch weekend and we welcomed lots of prospective buyers from in and around the local area.

“We have a really exciting range of properties with something to suit everyone, from two-bed starter homes, to spacious four-beds for larger families.

“We are expecting huge demand and we’d be delighted to show people the options we have available.”

Ideal for families, Knightswood Place has good local schools nearby and with London city centre just 14-and-a-half miles away, the new development is set to be popular with commuters.

Louise, added: “We are committed to building high quality homes in sought after locations, bringing new homes to help meet the growing housing demand.

“We would encourage customers interested in purchasing a property off-plan to visit our marketing suite which is now open onsite or register their interest online.”

Persimmon Homes has a range of schemes available to help buyers make their next move on the property ladder, with access the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme. Those with homes to sell can also benefit from Home change, with no obligation to buy new until Persimmon have sold the existing home at an agreed minimum price.
