RESIDENTS living in South Grays are being encouraged to come forward and have their say at the re-launched Orchards Community Forum which is meeting on Wednesday 26 September at the St Thomas of Canterbury Church.
The Forum has not been active for some time, and a new committee is being sought to shape future opportunities.
Cllr Deborah Huelin, Portfolio Holder for Communities said: “Local Forums play a key role in raising local issues and bringing people together around the things they care about most.
“They are a great way to make your voice heard and come up with ideas and actions to help resolve local issues.”
The Orchards Forum covers the area of Grays west of Bridge Road, south of High View Avenue, and east of Whitehall Lane and Gypsy Lane down to the river.
The first meeting of the re-launched forum will take place at St Thomas of Canterbury Church, East Thurrock Road, on Wednesday September 26th at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
