CONTACT the Elderly’s fabulous intrepid explorers Gregg and Will, who walked a challenging 190 miles from Glasgow to Inverness to raise money for Thurrock CTE presented their fabulous, amazing donation of £2,662.25 at their Thurrock Contact the Elderly Quiz night.
A spokesperson said: “Thank you so so much. This fantastic donation will allow us to continue our fight to reduce the isolation and loneliness within our Thurrock Elderly residents”.
There was also a very big Thurrock Contact the Elderly thank you to everyone who came along tonight to support their Charity Quiz Night.
“Your kindness and generosity raised an amazing £1288.33. Thank you to local businesses, friends, family and elderly guests for donating fabulous raffle prizes. Sue and Joanne Wellard for their brain teasing questions, Stifford Clays Social Club for free hire of the Hall, and dedicated, special volunteers for all their help. Funds raised tonight will pay for their lovely elderly guests Christmas lunch and pressies.
A very big Thurrock Contact the Elderly thank you to these two fabulous lovelies for their wonderful Quiz Mastery at our Charity Quiz night. Sue Wellard and Joanne Wellard prepared all the questions, quiz sheets, scoring and an evening of brain testing questions, treating lovely quiz guests to an evening of fun and laughter. They raised an amazing £1288.33 for their fabulous charity.
