THE THURROCK Independents have launched a petition to challenge problems of pollution in Tilbury.
The petition states;
We the undersigned petition Thurrock Council to:-
We, the residents of Tilbury, would like a full air quality and pollution review carried out as soon as possible. The dust in the air within Tilbury is constantly being spread around and it is within the air we breathe.
It is affecting our health and the children in the area. We would like the findings made public and an action plan put in place to make air quality better for all Tilbury residents.
The situation appears to be getting worse so it is essential that action is taken to mitigate and tackle this situation.
