A MAN from Grays is set to stand trial over charges of harassment.
James Hay, aged 32, of Lisle Place, Grays has been charged with the following.
1. On 21/02/2018 at George Crooks House, Grays, assaulted a female by beating her
2. On 21/02/2018 at George Crooks House, Grays, Essex, without lawful authority, used violence for the purpose of securing entry into premises, on George Crooks House, Grays, knowing that there was someone present on those premises who was opposed to the said entry
3. On 13/03/2018 at Grays, pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of another and which you knew or ought to have known amounted to the harassment of her in that you attended at her home address pressing the buzzer and banging on her door and repeatedly calling her mobile phone
Hay has been remanded on bail.
He has pleaded not guilty.
A trial date of November 11th at Basildon magistrates court has been set.
