Blogspot: The Irish border and Thurrock

OUR editor was in the Republic of Ireland last week. On a brighter autumnal day, he decided to pop across the border (between Cavan and Clones) and post a little v-log.

  1. Very good feature Michael, trade, commerce and people moving freely across the 300 mile Irish border at the moment. Economic dividend to communities both sides has been enormous, enabled by the Good Friday agreement. All this now in peril because the DUP in parliament will not allow the Uk Govt to sign up the the Irish backstop as part of Brexit divorce deal. The majority of voters in Northern Ireland voted to Remain in the EU. Will of the people, how are ya?
