Man with life-threatening injures after incident in Stifford Clays

Statement from East of England Air Ambulance

An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, and ambulance officer vehicle and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to Stifford Clays on Saturday (Jan 5) following reports of a man injured in an assault.

A man was transported by road ambulance to the Royal London Hospital with a stab wound and other serious injuries.

1630 hrs

POLICE are currently at the scene of a serious incident in Crammavill Street, Grays.

Officers were called at just after 2pm today, Saturday January 5th, following reports of a disturbance involving a number of individuals.

They attended the scene and found one man had suffered life-threatening injuries. He is currently on his way to hospital.

One man has been arrested and officers remain at the scene.

1600 hrs

YT has received a report of an incident in Stifford Clays.

YT understands that there has been an assault on Crammavill Street.

Police are in attendance.

An air ambulance has landed on Nutberry Park.
