THURROCK Adult Community College offer subsidised, low-cost IT and Digital Skills courses at their centre in Grays, thanks to funding from the ESFA. Workshops and short courses are available this term for both beginners and those looking to learn advanced skills – tailor your learning to achieve personal goals on their Microsoft Excel and Outlook training or learn how to build a website in a day, maximise your business with digital marketing or learn social media for the workplace.
For baby boomers and beyond, there is a short course starting very soon, tailored to over-55s who want to get to grips with their Smartphone or tablet (concession rate available to over-65s on most courses).
If you need IT skills to get a job or achieve your goals, the college has a Level 1 qualification course running this term (free for learners receiving some unemployed benefits and you can apply to a learner support fund if on a low income, or in receipt of income-related benefits).
